An Iraqi Freelance Cartoonist and Illustrator, living and working in Holland
Born in al Zubair District / Al Basra – Iraq in the year 1962. He graduated from the Baghdad collage of Fine Arts Academy in the year 1985. Worked as a teacher of Fine Arts in the Fine Arts Institute / Al Basra in the year 1988.
Started working in Iraqi Newspapers and Magazines in the year 1983, where he worked in: Alif-Baa Magazine, Woman Magazine, Waii Al Umal Magazine, Al Jumhuriyah Newspaper, Alqadisiyah Newspaper, Al Iraq Newspaper
Left to Jordan in the year 1991 and worked in Jordanian Newspapers: Al Dustour Newspaper, Shihan Newspaper and Al Ahali Newspaper. He also concurrently worked with Al Muharrir French Newspaper, and then migrated to Netherlands in the year 1994, where he worked in local Newspapers and Magazines: Inzet Magazine, and Post Nederland Vluchtelingen Newspaper.
Afterwards he worked for London based Al Zaman Newspaper and Al Zaman Al Jadeed Magazine. Then he moved to work in Iraqi Al Sabah Al Jadeed Newspaper 2007, Kuwaiti Al Jareeda Newspaper 2007
Relocated to Kuwait in the year 2007 and worked in Awan Kuwaiti Newspaper, and finally worked in Kuwaiti Al Qabas Daily Newspaper in the year 2011
Currently he works and lives in the Netherlands
